The PTZOptics Link 4K 12X PTZ camera in grey is a high-quality motorized imaging solution built around a 1/2.5" CMOS sensor rated at 8.51 megapixels: it records up to 4K UHD at 60 fps and, on SDI, 1080p at 60 fps as well. The Sony CMOS chip, paired with 3D noise reduction, stays usable in low-light scenes; the 12x optical zoom at F1.8 ~ F2.6 opens to a 72.5° horizontal angle when wide.

Among the headline tools is built-in auto tracking, which keeps the framed talent in shot without a dedicated camera operator. Presenter Lock, PTZOptics’ exclusive approach, holds a chosen individual up to 60 m away even when other people share the frame. Switching between presenters on stage is a single-click action using the same tracking engine. The refreshed PTZOptics Web UI lines up presets, networking, and tracking inside a straightforward menu tree. Video tracking is supported; image flip, mirror mode, and frame freeze are available too.

Video and network outputs follow the Link 4K family: SDI, HDMI, USB, and IP streaming. Dante AV-H lets the camera slot into elaborate Dante deployments where one environment handles routing, setup, and supervision of audio and video gear. Clock sync to Dante keeps AV aligned, while Dante AV-H video crosses the LAN natively together with audio from the 3.5 mm line input. Link 4K merges broadcast-grade imagery with the discovery and management ease of Dante, streamlining professional video production installs. The RJ45 port accepts PoE+ (802.3at) power.

Operators drive pan, tilt, and zoom from OBS, Livestream Studio, Wirecast, vMix, mimoLive, or Tricaster, or from a PTZOptics hardware joystick. Integration with Blackmagic switchers is intended for continuity in video control workflows. From anywhere, the camera can be steered through remote tools, including cloud clients such as Zoom. For distribution, feeds can go straight to CDNs like Facebook and Youtube. Additional control comes from the bundled remote controller and the dedicated app; a Tally light shows on-air status. Voice-Tracking, currently in beta, applies beamforming to detect the speaker’s voice and automatically pan, tilt, and zoom around them no matter where they move in the room. On the rear panel, HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0 type A, 2-pin Phoenix RS485 input/output (up to 1200 m, VISCA / Pelco-D / Pelco-P), and the serial and network interfaces listed in the spec block complete the I/O. Multiple mounting options cover fixed or mobile installations.

The lens spans f = 4.4 ~ 52.8 mm (25 ~ 299 mm, 35 mm equivalent) with horizontal field from 6.9° tele to 72.5° wide and vertical from 3.9° to 44.8°. Minimum illumination is 0.5 lx at F1.8 with AGC on; shutter runs from 1/30 s to 1/10,000 s. PTZ travel covers ±170° pan at 1.7° ~ 100°/s and +90° to -30° tilt at 1.7° ~ 69.9° speed, with 255 storable presets. HDMI delivers 3840x2160p-60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25, 1920x1080p60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25, 1920x1080i-60/59.94/50, and 1280x720p-60/59.94; SDI outputs 1920x1080p-60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25, 1920x1080i-60/59.94/50, and 1280x720p-60/59.94. IP video uses the 10/100/1000M Ethernet port; 3G-SDI on BNC meets 800 mV p-p at 75 ohm per SMPTE 424M. RS232 on 8-pin mini-DIN in and out (30 m max, VISCA / Pelco-D / Pelco-P). Power is 12 V DC or PoE+ with 18 W maximum draw; aluminium and plastic construction, 141.5 x 151 x 176 mm body (201 mm with tilt up), 1.47 kg mass, indoor use from -10 °C to 40 °C, storage from -40 °C to 60 °C.
