PTZOptics POP-PT20X-4K-GY-G3 is a grey PTZ camera with a 1/1.8" Sony CMOS sensor and 8.42 effective Mpixels. It captures up to 4K UHD at 60 fps or 1080p at 60 fps over SDI. The 3D noise-reduction system supports high performance in low-light conditions. Its 20x optical zoom, rated F1.58 ~ F3.95, uses f = 6.25 ~ 125 mm optics, equivalent to 31 ~ 589 mm in 35 mm format, and delivers a horizontal field of view from 3.5° to 60.7° and a vertical field of view from 1.9° to 34.1°. Digital zoom reaches 16x, with the image cropped down to 256 x 144 pixels.

Auto tracking independently follows the framed subject without an operator. Presenter Lock targets a selected person up to 76 m away, even when other subjects are visible, while built-in tracking lets users change from one presenter to another on stage with a single click. Video tracking is supported, together with image flip, mirror and freeze functions.

The updated PTZOptics Web UI includes auto-tracking management within a menu-based system. Move 4K models provide SDI, HDMI, USB and IP outputs. Native NDI | HX3 distributes broadcast video through a low-latency IP infrastructure with a stable frame rate up to 4K resolution. This provides the stated performance and versatility for network video distribution. The RJ45 interface supports PoE+.

Move 4K PTZ cameras can be controlled using OBS, Livestream Studio, Wirecast, vMix, mimoLive or Tricaster, or through a PTZOptics hardware joystick controller. Integration with Blackmagic switchers is also available. Remote operation from anywhere in the world can use several tools, including NDI and cloud-based software such as Zoom. The camera can stream live directly to CDNs such as Facebook and Youtube. A supplied remote controller and a dedicated App are included, and the Tally light is present.

Voice-Tracking is currently in beta testing. Beamforming algorithms detect and follow the speaker’s voice, automatically panning, tilting and zooming around the subject regardless of their position in the room. Several mounting options are available, and the manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty.

Rear-board connections include 1 HDMI version 2.0, 1 USB 2.0 type A, 1 2-pin Phoenix port with RS485 input/output, a maximum distance of 1200 m and VISCA / Pelco-D / Pelco-P protocols, plus a JEITA-type power jack for 12 V DC input. Video output includes 1 RJ45 adaptive 10/100/1000M Ethernet port, listed with 424M standard, and 1 BNC-type 3G-SDI output rated 800 mV p-p and 75 ohm according to the SMPTE 424M standard.

Audio uses 1 3.5 mm line-level input. Communication is provided by 1 8-pin mini-DIN RS232 input and 1 8-pin mini-DIN RS232 output, each supporting a maximum distance of 30 m and VISCA / Pelco-D / Pelco-P protocols. The RJ45 network interface is adaptive 10/100/1000M Ethernet with PoE+ (802.3at) support. Power options are 12 V DC or PoE+ (802.3at), and maximum input power is 18 W. Materials are aluminium and plastic.

Pan movement is ±170° at 1.7° ~ 100°/s; tilt movement spans +90° to -30° at 1.7° ~ 69.9°/s. There are 255 presets. Minimum illumination is 0.5 lx at F1.8 with AGC on, and shutter speed ranges from 1/30 s to 1/10,000 s. HDMI formats include 3840 x 2160p at 60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25, 1920 x 1080p at 60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25, 1920 x 1080i at 60/59.94/50 and 1280 x 720p at 60/59.94 fps. SDI formats include 1920 x 1080p at 60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25, 1920 x 1080i at 60/59.94/50 and 1280 x 720p at 60/59.94 fps.

Digital zoom levels are off at 3840 x 2160, 2x at 1920 x 1080, 3x at 1280 x 720, 4x at 960 x 540, 8x at 480 x 270 and 16x at 256 x 144. Dimensions are 16.84 x 14.15 x 16.45 cm (W x D x H), and weight is 1.47 kg. The intended environment is indoor, with an operating temperature from -10 to 40 °C and a storage temperature from -40 to 60 °C.
