Shielded stereo flat cable 0,25mm² reel 100m - PROSPECTA PRS-G011

The black PROSPECTA PRS-G011 shielded flat cable is intended to carry signals between MP3 players and small audio headphones, and can also be used for stereo connections in home audio systems. Its two internal conductors each have a 0.25 mm² cross-section and consist of 8 wires measuring 0.20 mm in diameter; the identifying colours are red and yellow.

The external black sheath has a diameter of 1.70 mm and overall dimensions of approximately 3.80 x 7.70 mm. Cable weight is 41.0 kg/km, capacitance is 38 pF/m and internal conductor resistance is 78 ohm/km. The inner conductor is bare copper and the insulation is polyethylene. Shielding is provided by a spiral bare-copper layer and a spiral tinned-copper layer. The jacket uses special PVC TM2 (YM2), rated at 60 Shore, in accordance with EN 50363-4-1; flame behaviour is specified by IEC 60332-1-2.

Peak operating voltage is 49 V AC / 110 V DC, nominal voltage Uo/U is 300 / 300 V, test voltage is 2000 V and insulation resistance is above 20 Mohm/km. The cable is supplied in 100 m reels.
