License Resolume Arena 7 VJ 1 PC - RESOLUME RES-ARENA7X1

The Resolume Arena 7 licence runs on 1 PC at a time and includes a backup PC; the licence can also be moved from one computer to another. Arena is the evolution of Avenue, incorporating all the features of the previous version while adding advanced tools such as mapping. Videos can be divided into multiple sections, geometric corrections can be applied and content can be aligned with real surfaces, enabling pixel-accurate projection mapping and the management of unlimited LED wall configurations. Edge blending allows multiple video projectors to form one screen, aligning the different surfaces and using soft edge processing to correct brightness in overlapping areas.

Arena is designed for large events and can synchronise content via SMPTE timecode, Denon StageLinQ or Ableton Link. It is also useful for lighting designers because it handles incoming and outgoing DMX signals through Art-Net or compatible USB-DMX adaptors, supports custom fixture creation and includes integrated pixel mapping. Live video mixing lets you play videos forwards or backwards, scratch, adjust tempo to the beat and combine visuals quickly, treating Resolume like an instrument. The intuitive interface supports as few or as many videos and effects as required; the limit is the computer’s raw power and the user’s imagination.

Content can be played on any number of screens, from a simple screen behind the DJ at a local club to the main stage at Ultra, provided that the computer recognises the screen as an output. Arena plays audio and video files, allowing pixels to be animated, any video file to be combined with any audio file, and audio and video effects to be used separately or together. Audio analysis makes clips and effects respond to the beat by making parameters move with the music.

Live compositing and effects allow the scale and position of clips to be adjusted and the appearance of the video to be changed substantially. Processing runs on the video card for fast performance and the best possible image quality. Real-time rendering, blending, mixing, cutting, editing and effects processing take place immediately. All visual effects are plugins: third-party plugins can be added by downloading them, or custom ones can be programmed with OpenGL; on the audio side, VST plugins can be used.
