Video software license Arena 7 educational, 3 PC - RESOLUME RES-ARENA7X3EDU

The educational Resolume Arena 7 licence supports simultaneous use on 3 PCs plus one backup PC and can be transferred from one computer to another. This edition is available only to students, teachers and educational institutes. Arena is the evolution of Avenue and adds advanced mapping tools to its functions: video can be divided into multiple sections, geometrically corrected and aligned with real surfaces, providing pixel-accurate projection mapping and support for unlimited LED wall configurations.

Edge blending combines several video projectors into one screen by aligning the surfaces and using soft edge to correct the brightness of overlapping projected areas. Content can be synchronised through SMPTE timecode, Denon StageLinQ or Ableton Link. The software manages incoming and outgoing DMX signals via Art-Net or compatible USB-DMX adaptors, supports custom fixtures and provides integrated pixel mapping.

Live video mixing allows content to be played forwards or backwards, scratched, matched to the beat and combined quickly. The intuitive interface supports a small or large number of videos and effects; the result depends on the computer’s processing power and the operator’s imagination. Arena can control any number of screens, from a display behind the DJ in a local club to the main stage at Ultra, when the computer recognises the screen as an output.

Arena plays audio and video files, pairs any video with any audio, animates pixels and follows beats. It includes audio and video effects that can be used separately or combined, audio analysis that makes clips and effects move with the music, and live compositing with scale and position adjustment. Effects can substantially alter the appearance of the video; processing on the video card is intended to provide the stated performance and image quality. Real-time rendering, blending, mixing, cutting and editing happen immediately. Visual effects are plugins and can be expanded by downloading third-party plugins.
