The RGBlink GX4pro is a processor/scaler designed for on-demand video wall or LED wall applications. It brings together the key functions of this kind of work: seamless switching between sources, transition effects, PIP, dynamic configuration of LED displays and audio management. It also offers multi-device splicing, meaning several GX4pro units can be linked through an HDMI loop to achieve the perfect join between multiple displays, as needed in video walls, for example.
The design is fully modular. Besides the standard HDMI, CVBS, VGA and DVI inputs and a pair of RCA analogue audio connectors, the unit has a free slot for any single input module, chosen from HDMI, DP, DVI, 3G SDI, VGA, CVBS and USB, so the GX4pro can be adapted to a specific working environment. The two outputs are DVI 2K (2048 x 1152 at 60 Hz) and let you pick from several resolutions, including custom ones, depending on the display in use. EDID management keeps the processor's output resolution and frame rate matched to those of the display at all times.
The TAKE button on the front panel, familiar to RGBlink users, provides preview and lets you change input with a transition effect, selected from the 12 available. On the audio side, the GX4pro handles both embedded audio and audio from an external source, with both external outputs (OUT L/R, also on a 3.5 mm mini-jack). The RCA audio output suits connection to dedicated audio systems, while the embedded audio is used to send audio and video to remote LED displays fitted with loudspeakers, as in digital signage.
The GX4pro can also act as an LED display controller once universal sender cards are installed in the dedicated slots: the 2 empty slots take either one 2.6 Mpixel card or two 1.3 Mpixel cards. Alternatively, an LED wall can be driven with the RGBlink SubitoNX card at 2.3 Mpixels, up to a 3840 x 1920 pixel resolution through 4 RJ45 ports, with the benefit of a library of profiles for quick set-up.
Main features: Picture-in-Picture (PIP); transition effects; RGBlink instant TAKE with pre-sync; audio controls; support for additional input options; EDID management on board; on-board test patterns; support for multi-device cascade; two empty slots reserved for universal sender cards and the RBGlink SubitoNX™Quatro sender module to be installed; support for XPOSE 2.0 control; support for RGBLink OpenAPI.
