Class D final power amplifier 2x500W 100V - RONDSON DA-500DP RON-02485

The RONDSON DA-500DP is a 2-channel class D power amplifier delivering 2 x 500 W. The class D circuit design provides high power in a compact, lightweight unit. It features a variable-speed cooling fan driven by a thermal sensor and a 100 V (20 ohm) output.

One of its most interesting aspects is its dual powering: it can run from 220 VAC or from a 24 VDC battery. The optional fault monitoring module switches over to a standby amplifier or to a standby loudspeaker line if the amplifier or the loudspeaker line fails, provided the FS-3381 switching system is connected in between. A level reset relay contact on the output terminal block lets you broadcast calls in an emergency over 3- or 4-wire lines that need a 24 VDC supply.

For maximum reliability, the unit includes an overload protection circuit, a short-circuit limiter, an over-voltage protection circuit and a circuit that reduces noise at switch-on. The input terminal handles Audio Priority and remote control. A 200 Hz high-pass filter is also built in to improve sound quality. Signal inputs are on Euroblock screw terminal blocks.
