8-channel mixer preamplifier NOMA priority Phantom 48V - RONDSON RON-02500

The RONDSON RON-02500 combines an 8-channel professional mixer and preamplifier in a single unit, with selectable priority management for public address systems. It can be used as a basic preamplifier and also accepts the JS-90C microphone station for conference applications.

Front-panel controls provide master-volume adjustment and output-level adjustment. The rear panel carries 8 inputs, each with its own volume control and MIC/line selector. 48 V Phantom power can be selected for channels 1-4 or channels 5-8. General Bass/Treble controls, a LOW CUT switch on every channel and an input-signal LED for each input are also provided. Connections include an RCA line input, a balanced MASTER XLR output, an unbalanced RCA output and 1 RS-232 socket.

Voice priority can be assigned to every channel; a DIP switch then attenuates the remaining channels by 20 or 40 dB. NOMA, meaning the number of attenuated open microphones, automatically adjusts the output level as the number of channels in use increases.

Input sensitivity is MIC -50 dBu/5 kohm, Line 0 dBu/5 kohm and AUX -10 dBu/15 kohm. Output sensitivity is +4 dBu and output level is +8 dBu. Distortion is <0.1%, frequency response is 15-20,000 Hz, and the S/N ratio is 75 dB for MIC and 85 dB for line. The input section uses 8 XLR-3F connectors; outputs comprise 1 XLR-3M and 1 RCA, while the link section provides 2 RJ45 connectors. A DB9 RS232 connector and a DB15 AUX/control connector are also fitted. Pre-selected priority uses 8 DIP switches. Power is supplied at 220 V AC, 50/60 Hz; consumption is 4.8 W, dimensions are 434 x 236 x 45 mm and weight is 5.7 kg.
