Chairman microphone console wired conference system CS-120 - RONDSON RON-02218

This "Chairman" microphone console belongs to the CS-120 wired conference system. Every console has a built-in 3 W loudspeaker and a headphone jack for monitoring. The CS-021R "Chairman" model adds a "TALK" button and a "PRIOR" button, which mutes every console that is active on the system. A single system can accept several "Chairman" consoles, up to 8.

All consoles carry a slim, semi-rigid electret microphone that picks up sound from as far as 50 cm away, with a red light ring that glows while the microphone is in use. The flexible microphone is fitted with a 4-pin CB connector for quick connection and disconnection. AUTO/FIFO modes can be selected, and a numeric display shows the bank number (the lectern number). Volume is set with a potentiometer. Sound quality is good even over long-distance transmission.

Installation is quick and simple thanks to the supplied connection cables: 1.3 m for the microphone stations and 10 m to the control unit. Input and output sockets are 8-pin DIN. A mini-jack socket is also provided, so the microphone desk can be fitted with an EM-101 earpiece or the NL-90 for the hearing impaired.
