Remote microphone preamplifier 2 XLR, volume and tone T-8000 - RONDSON RON-00946

The Rondson T-8000 is a microphone preamp with volume and tone control, compatible with the T-8000 matrix. The T-8000C and T-8000D are remote control units that connect to the T-8000 matrix over a standard universal CAT5 cable, whenever the volume of the sources needs adjusting or calls have to be made from locations far from the matrix. Each control matrix has 8 RJ45 sockets for remote control from the preamp module.

CAT5 cabling is chosen for its low cost and ease of installation, and also because a single cable carries RJ 485 communication, audio transmission and the 24 V power supply. This family of modules also includes a more complex model, the T-8000B.

Main features: the T-8000C has an LED display with up and down buttons and a volume potentiometer for setting the overall output level. The T-8000D has 2 remote XLR microphone inputs with volume and tone control and with music priority for calls. The 24 VDC power supply is provided by the matrix, with a low consumption of 5 W. An analogue / digital conversion makes it possible to adjust the matrix volume.
