The Foldable 8-Leaf Barndoor is an accessory for shaping the Palco 12's eight-leaf beam, combining mechanical robustness and great operational versatility. The integrated frame allows for simultaneous or independent mounting of the barndoor and diffusion filters, ensuring flexible use in any application context. The dedicated filter system, sold in sets and color-coded with a colored fabric tie, allows for quick adjustment of the beam angle as needed: 20°, 45°, and 80° diffusers are available, as well as elliptical 10 x 60° and 60 x 10° versions, ideal for applications requiring a more controlled or extended light distribution. An additional operational advantage is that the frame and filters can remain mounted on the fixture even when the fixture is stored in its flight case. This reduces setup time and simplifies logistics, as filters can be replaced directly while the projector, with its frame already installed, is inside the case.
