16-channel analogue mixer 8 Combo 60 mm faders DSP - DEFINITIVE AUDIO TML 8 BU DSP

The Definitive Audio TML 8 BU DSP is a 16-channel analogue mixer with 8 mono and 4 stereo channels, high-quality preamps and fully sealed, precise potentiometers. It includes a 99-effect DSP operating at 24 bit / 48 kHz, a USB player / recorder with USB 1.1 audio interface, a Bluetooth V5.1 + BR + EDR + BLE receiver and balanced XLR outputs. Its 8 XLR / jack Combo inputs handle microphone or line signals and are fitted with 60 mm linear faders.

The microphone channels provide gain adjustment, signal indication, 3-band tone controls, low-cut filter, left/right audio-video distribution buttons, auxiliary and effects sends, plus monitoring control. The XLR inputs supply +48 V Phantom power. Connectivity comprises 2 x 6.35 mm stereo jack inputs, 1 x 3.5 mm stereo jack input and 1 x stereo RCA input. Two stereo inputs feature gain adjustment, signal light, 3-band tone control, left/right audio-video distribution, auxiliary send and effects send; the other two provide volume adjustment, signal indication and an auxiliary-send button. The player / recorder decodes MP3, WAV, APE and FLAC audio.

Levels are shown by 3-colour, 10-band LEDs. The main meters use 6 segments with a -20 dB peak indication, while the channel meters have 1 signal indicator. Maximum input level is +10 dBu for MIC and +22 dBu for line; maximum output level is +22 dBu through XLR and +20 dBu through TRS. Frequency response is 20 Hz–22 kHz ±1 dB, CMRR at 1 kHz exceeds 75 dB, and THD+N is below 0.05% from channel to mix. The mono channel uses balanced XLR with hot pin 2, cold pin 3, 2 kohm impedance and sensitivity from -60 to +10 dBu. Its correction section provides treble ±15 dB at 12 kHz, midrange ±15 dB at 2.5 kHz and bass ±15 dB at 80 Hz. The balanced TRS connection has a hot tip, cold ring, 10 kohm impedance and sensitivity from -20 to +20 dBu. Stereo channels 1 / 2 use unbalanced TRS with hot tip, 20 kohm impedance and sensitivity from -20 to +20 dBu, with EQ ranges of ±15 dB at 12 kHz, 2.5 kHz and 80 Hz for treble, midrange and bass. Stereo channel 3 / 4 uses an unbalanced 6.35 mm TRS connection.

The TML 8 BU DSP supports direct recording and playback and suits fixed or mobile use in project studios, live concerts and shows, local venues, conference rooms and places of worship. Power is supplied at 12 V DC / 2 A for 24 W. Dimensions are 39.9 × 8.4 × 30.9 cm and weight is 4.78 kg.
