The Definitive Audio TD 400 MH/PT is a UHF wireless microphone system built around two handheld transmitters, two bodypack units with headset and lavalier microphones, and a 19" 1U four-channel True Diversity rack receiver that markedly improves reception quality in operation. The PLL receiver offers four colour LCD displays and control buttons for management and essential settings; it covers 580 to 608 MHz and delivers strong sonic performance with clear, crisp, and precise sound.

The package pairs two handheld wireless microphones and two bodypack wireless microphones (lavalier plus headset) with the UHF True Diversity receiver. Handheld microphones (×2) and bodypack transmitters (×2) use colour-type LCD displays; a PLL phase-locked circuit provides stable behaviour and low harmonic radiation. Maximum transmission power is 13 dBm (depending on regions), with transmitter power up to 30 mW; a built-in antenna distribution system limits mutual interference from antenna radiation. Frequency grouping supplies multiple preset groups compatible with the operating frequency; switching band up to 50 MHz supports up to 2000 frequencies (depending on regions).
