98" 4K HDR Mini LED BRAVIA 5 Google TV Dolby Atmos display - SONY SON-FWD-98XR55

The SONY FWD-98XR55 is a 98" 4K HDR display from the BRAVIA 5 series, designed for a cinematic picture and sound experience in corporate environments, meeting rooms, showrooms, public spaces, high-end retail, educational and training environments, premium hospitality and large-scale home theatres. Mini LED backlighting with XR Backlight Master Drive, also used in professional monitors, delivers deep blacks, accurate colour gradations and strong dynamic contrast. The XR Processor with artificial intelligence analyses each scene and, together with the XR Triluminos Pro system, produces natural colours and vivid detail. XR Motion Clarity keeps fast-moving content smooth and sharp, while intelligent upscaling enhances images towards 4K.

The Acoustic Multi-Audio system synchronises sound with the picture, while Voice Zoom 3 keeps dialogue clear. 3D Surround Upscaling creates a virtual surround effect from above and the sides and converts stereo or 5.1 tracks into immersive 5.1.2 audio. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced are supported. The minimalist One Slate design reduces distractions and highlights the screen; the two-position stand supports flexible installation, including setups with a soundbar. Eco Dashboard 2 helps monitor and optimise energy consumption.

Google TV provides access to over 400,000 titles and more than 10,000 apps, with Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast compatibility or built-in support. HDMI 2.1 provides 4K at 120 Hz, VRR and ALLM. PlayStation 5 features include Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode. The display combines vivid images, immersive audio, a One Slate design with dual-position stand and functions suitable for professional installations and large home theatres.
