The DAP NRG series consists of lightweight full-range speakers with woofers from 8” to 15” and subwoofers with drivers from 12” to 18”, available in <a target="_blank" href=https://www.highlite.com/it/catalogsearch/result/?q=nrg&item_status=10%2C12%2C15%2C8&category_uid=MTU0>passive</a> and active versions. The series is designed for mobile DJ applications or permanent installations in small and medium-sized venues. All NRG speakers use robust yet lightweight plywood enclosures, double-angle pole mounts, M10 mounting points on full-range speakers, M20 adapters on subwoofers, a professional-grade urethane coating resistant to wear, and durable connectors to provide exceptional sound quality at a highly competitive price.

The active range of the NRG series is surprisingly lightweight, as the amplifiers use modern class D technology and power supplies in switched mode. The integrated Bluetooth 5.0 receiver offers TWS (True Wireless Stereo) to quickly configure a wireless stereo system. Crossover filters are implemented in the internal DSP and include default settings for optimized and phase-optimized frequency for top/sub combinations with all NRG models. The best way to achieve outstanding sound and high output is to use a top and sub of the NRG range.

The NRG- 18 SA DAP is an active subwoofer with a peak power of 1000 watts (RMS continuous of 500 watts). It uses a 18 woofer with voice coil from 3 + double to offer bass up to 45 hertz (- 6 dB). It is powerful enough to produce comfortably up to 122 dB. It is equipped with an internal DSP with 4 useful modes for integration with a full range NRG diffuser or a customizable crossover frequency. The internal D jack accepts the audio signal, which is looped to the two XLR outputs to drive a full range speaker or additional subwoofer.

The sturdy and lightweight plywood housing is equipped with a M 20 threaded insert for mounting a speaker pole. To get the best out of the NRG- 18 SA, we recommend using it in combination with a full range diffuser from the NRG series.
