Revolutionary 4 way connection system

If you've already used a Pipes & Drapes system before, you probably know what the flaws are: for example, the telescopic support of the drapery that comes off, irregular hanging curtains or clumsy mounting.

The revolutionary and patented 4-way connector with its self-locking system makes these events a memory of the past. This system guarantees solid connections of uprights and supports for curtains, while these can still be adjusted in all possible directions. Wentex Pipes & Drapes goes further and further. Another advantage is that the four openings of the connectors have a universal size of 16 mm. This gives space for mounting a camera, a speaker or a lamp. Using an adapter, you can also connect the connector to 4 seamlessly to all Pipes & Drapes systems with round uprights.

Our reinforced aluminium telescopic uprights can be mounted up to 6 meters without the need for ladders and their locking heads ensure easy and sturdy connection. In addition, our base plates with rounded corners are reinforced to withstand an extra weight.

Reinforced sheet supports can withstand a weight of 25 kg and can be adjusted up to 3 meters in length. The Velcro system ensures that the curtains are hung evenly and straight.

We offer a wide range of different fabrics that can be used for Pipe and Drape systems. Each type of fabric has its own specifications and applications that are explained in the following overview.

Medium-gloss satin.

Medium Gloss Satin is a lightweight fabric. Its weight is 165 grams/m2. Thanks to its light weight, it is easy to handle and more economical. The curtains have a slightly glossy appearance. Medium Gloss Satin curtains can be washed and are flame-retardant according to DIN 4102-B1 (IFR). They are made of 100% PES FR. Thanks to the lightweight fabric, it does not block light at 100%; for this type of application, the Dimout series can be used.

Molton CS

Molton CS is the standard for stage clothing and is made from the same fabric as the backdrops. Molton CS is heavy, with a weight of 300 grams/m2 . It has a matt finish and therefore absorbs most of the light. Moreover, thanks to its higher density, it blocks light much better than Medium Gloss Satin.

Molton CS curtains are washable and are flame retardants according to DIN 4102 -B 1 (IFR).

They are made at 100 % in PES FR.

Dimout

Dimout fabrics are shiny fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/ 2 . They are ideal for decorative applications and available in a wide range of colors. Dimout curtains are designed in a special way to block light and can be used for example in front of windows.

Dimout curtains can be washed and are flame retardant according to DIN 4102 -B 1 (IFR). They are made at 100 % in PES FR.

String curtain

String Curtains are very suitable for decorative effects. They have a'high transparency and are ideal for being illuminated to create elegant and impactful effects. String Curtains are washable and are fireproof according to the DIN 4102-B1 (IFR) standard. They are made at 100% in PES FR.

The Wentex flexible adapter with a 4-way connector can be used to connect up to three Wentex telescopic drape supports to a single telescopic drape support. With this flexible adapter, there is no need to position another Wentex support to support the drape support. The “hook” sits exactly above the drape support and can be secured with a screw. The additional drape support aligns perfectly with the main drape support. Compatible with Pipe and Drape systems.
