WiTalk Base-V is the base station that expands the capabilities of the WiTalk9 X wireless Intercom system, designed for productions requiring reliable communications, advanced user management, and maximum operational flexibility. Based on 1.9 GHz DECT technology with secure, interference-resistant transmission, it allows for the creation of advanced communication networks while maintaining high audio quality even in particularly noisy or heavily congested RF environments.
The station supports up to 16 simultaneous users and can be expanded to up to 64 users by daisy-chaining four units via a LAN. With the ability to create up to 8 independent communication groups, with each user able to quickly switch between two different groups, WiTalk Base-V is an ideal solution for complex, multidisciplinary teams requiring separate communication channels for control, cameras, audio, lighting, production, and technical coordination.
Designed to adapt to ever-evolving workflows, WiTalk Base-V can be quickly installed in television studios, broadcast facilities, mobile vehicles, touring productions, or outdoor applications. Powering via a V-Mount, G-Mount battery, or a 12 VDC power supply offers maximum freedom.
The rugged magnesium alloy construction combines lightness and durability, while the IP66 rating ensures protection from dust, rain, and harsh environmental conditions. The 5" HD color display ensures clear visualization of operating information even in direct sunlight. Advanced thermal design and natural electromagnetic shielding also help maintain high performance and reliability during extended use.
WiTalk Base-V was developed for easy integration into existing communications infrastructures. LAN, 4-wire, UAC, Bluetooth, and 3.5 mm TRRS connections allow connection to mixers, wired Intercom systems, two-way radios, software communication platforms, and computer-based conferencing systems. Support for DHCP and static IP modes also simplifies network integration.
Complete system management can be performed via a web browser, PC software, or a dedicated App, allowing you to control workgroups, user roles, firmware updates, and the operational status of the entire communications network. For even more advanced applications, the system can be managed via the Saramonic System App or combined with dedicated macro keyboards for instant control of key functions.
Thanks to its long operating range of up to 500 meters (line of sight), its high-quality audio, With its high fidelity, rugged IP66 design, and extensive integration capabilities, WiTalk Base-V is a communications platform for all applications requiring reliable and continuous coordination between multiple operators.
