RGBW LED PAR flood light, 8°-40° zoom, IP66, rental - BRITEQ BEG-B05555

The Briteq BEG-B05555 is the fifth-generation PRO BEAMER ZOOM – RENTAL, a fixture already used by many rental companies. It combines 7 Osram 20 W quad-colour LEDs with an IP66-rated housing and delivers 27,640 lux at 2 m with an 8° beam. Colour mixing remains even and accurate at short distances, eliminating unwanted RGBW shadows.

At full output it consumes only 128 W, making it an alternative to conventional PAR64 fixtures without requiring heavy dimmer packs. Its 1200 Hz LED scan rate also makes it suitable for TV studios, with no interference affecting cameras. The motorised zoom ranges from 8° to 40°, while two-zone pixel control handles the centre and ring effect separately. DMX operation can be configured from 3 to 25 channels.

Functions include colour-temperature presets from 3200 to 10,000 K, white and RGB calibration, several dimmer curves, DMX recall of custom programmes and a menu-driven LED display protected by a password on the rear panel. The Lockable Power Connector is compatible with Neutrik powerCON, and the DMX input and output connectors are waterproof. Tempered glass protects the lens.

Natural air convection provides silent cooling, so no noisy fans are required. The rugged, lightweight aluminium housing uses a double hanging bracket and can therefore also be placed as a floor fixture.
