The dongle version of DaVinci Resolve Studio is included with the DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor, DaVinci Resolve Editor Keyboard, DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel and DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel. DaVinci Resolve combines editing, colour correction, visual effects, motion graphics and audio post-production in one software application. Its elegant modern interface is quick for new users to learn while remaining powerful for professionals.

The workflow lets you work faster and at higher quality without learning several applications or changing software for different tasks. Camera-original image quality is maintained throughout the process, providing the equivalent of a complete post-production studio within one application. The same tools used by Hollywood professionals are available in DaVinci Resolve.

What’s new in DaVinci Resolve 18: version 18 introduces remote collaboration through cloud-based workflows. Project libraries can be hosted with Blackmagic Cloud, allowing multiple users around the world to work on the same timeline in real time. The Blackmagic Proxy Generator app creates and manages proxies automatically; the new proxy menu makes proxy work automatic and allows original media and proxies to be relinked with a single click. Apple Neural Engine support provides playback up to 30 times faster on Apple Mac computers with M1. New Resolve FX include Ultra Beauty and 3D Depth Map, alongside improved subtitling for editors, fixed-bus to FlexBus conversion in Fairlight and further functions.

Redesigned project libraries support local and remote real-time collaboration, while Blackmagic Cloud lets users host and access projects from anywhere in the world. Editors, colourists, visual effects artists and sound engineers can work together at the same time without importing and exporting files, translating projects, losing work, or conforming and managing changes. DaVinci Resolve allows everyone to work together in the same multi-user post-production studio.
