ISO 8-stream ProRes SMPTE-2110 100G recorder - BLACKMAGIC DESIGN BLM-HYPERD/UISO/100G

BLACKMAGIC DESIGN HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G is built for SMPTE-2110 broadcast workflows and can record up to eight independent ProRes video streams at the same time, directly to high-speed network storage. Its two 100G Ethernet connections carry all eight video channels over an IP link and support NMOS, PTP and SMPTE-2110 standards for stream synchronisation, discovery and routing. The unit is suited to complex multi-camera production: every source is stored as a separate ProRes file with complete metadata and synchronised Time Code, enabling immediate multi-camera editing in DaVinci Resolve.

DaVinci Resolve Replay integration turns the recorder into a live replay engine for reviewing action, creating clips and managing playlists during sports events and live productions. The front panel has a 2.2" LCD showing video, audio, standard, Time Code and menu settings, together with an electronic search dial for scrolling through inputs and monitoring streams. A headphone output and built-in mono speaker provide direct audio monitoring. The front-panel button gives momentary speaker activation with one press, speaker on/off with two presses, and volume control by pressing and holding while turning the search dial. SDI and HDMI monitor outputs show signals in real time, while the optional 8 × 12G SDI expansion allows traditional SDI sources to be integrated into hybrid IP workflows.

The integrated hardware encoder supports up to 8 × Ultra HD streams simultaneously in real-time ProRes. Recording to NAS or shared servers removes the limitations of local media, simplifies file management and accelerates post-production. Applications include multi-camera productions requiring simultaneous ISO recording, sports events, live shows, SMPTE-2110 broadcast control rooms, TV studios, OB vans and network-storage workflows.
