The celexon HomeCinema Plus 100-inch model is a white, high-contrast UST floor projection screen designed for ultra-short-throw projectors. Compared with the preceding version, this edition makes it easier to integrate the screen into a low TV cabinet or attach it to the cabinet. Used with a modern UST projector, it creates a genuine laser TV and provides an alternative to conventional televisions.

When it is not operating, the projection surface remains almost concealed. No wall or ceiling installation is required, because the screen can disappear inside or behind a low TV cabinet. Its innovative, elegant design allows straightforward integration into different surroundings. The optical and technical functions are intended to add value compared with solutions from other manufacturers.

A separate motor drives the new cassette-closing system. Once closed, the cassette protects the projection fabric and keeps the installation discreet in the room. Invisible handles built into the cassette allow the screen to be placed into a low cabinet from above with ease and security. The screen can also be removed whenever additional AV components have to be installed or new cables have to be routed.

HomeCinema Plus also uses an optimised pantograph mechanism. Strong aluminium-alloy couplers support the long service life of this mechanism. For easier operation, celexon specialists recommend a trigger connection; the package includes the USB trigger cable.

celexon CLR Black Grid technology

The high-contrast CLR fabric uses a newly developed structure that delivers 20% brighter images and increased colour contrast. The number of light-reflecting slats has been substantially raised, while the coating on the slat surface layers has been improved to counter ambient brightness. This produces outstanding images in almost all lighting conditions and uses a micron-scale black-grid structure.

CLR UST high-contrast projection fabric

An OLED effect requires a high-contrast surface such as the one used by the celexon CLR HomeCinema Plus series. The black-grid fabric significantly raises black levels and absorbs or redirects ambient light and light from other sources, preserving contrast-rich images when lighting conditions are less than ideal. The new UST micron-scale black-grid fabric is suitable for all current Full HD and 4K projectors, as well as models with higher resolutions up to 8K. Its viewing angle is 170°. A lateral tensioning system provides excellent flatness, which is essential when using ultra-short-throw projectors.
