Dante transmitter 4 mono analogue inputs PoE - CYP CYP-AU-DTI4-TX

The AU-DTI4-TX is a Dante transmitter with four balanced mono analogue audio inputs and one RJ45 AoIP output. It can transmit up to four channels of digital audio and is compatible with any standard Dante receiver. Each input supports selectable phantom power at 5 or 48 V and includes pre-gain adjustment.

Dante technology allows audio to be extended and routed through standard Ethernet networks, making complex audio systems easier and more flexible to build than with traditional analogue cabling. Heavy, expensive multicore cables can be replaced with standard Cat.5e/Cat.6 cables while retaining the quality of uncompressed digital audio.

Ethernet transmission avoids problems commonly associated with long analogue runs, including interference, crosstalk and signal attenuation, while maintaining minimal latency of approximately 1 ms. The unit is powered via PoE, which increases installation flexibility. Basic setup is carried out via USB, while audio routing and network management are handled by third-party control software.

Main functions include a standard Dante output, four configurable mono audio inputs, adjustable pre-gain on every input, optional phantom power with OFF, 5 V or 48 V modes for all inputs, and ADC channel muting. The high-quality ADC provides very low latency, and the unit is compatible with any Dante audio network.

AU-DTI4-TX receives power directly through PoE 802.3af, supplied by the switch or router connected to the Dante port. Setup requires a Serial over USB connection, while network audio routing is managed through third-party control software available for Windows and macOS.

For users, Dante network distribution provides reduced cabling and greater flexibility. The high-quality ADC enables very low latency, while PoE power supports cleaner and simpler installations. USB configuration and routing through dedicated software complete the operating workflow.
