The system functions as an automatic switch, selecting the active source via hot-plug detection and ensuring an immediate transition without complex manual intervention. In addition to video management, the device includes additional features such as L/R analog audio embedding and the ability to transport LAN via the HDBaseT connection, allowing for network and control integration alongside the AV signal. All these combined signals—uncompressed video, audio, network, and control data—can be transmitted up to 100 meters via a single CAT5e/6/7 cable to a compatible PUV-1600 Series receiver, maintaining quality and stability even in large installations. The PUV-1660TTX also supports simple AV automation functions, configurable via a web GUI, which can trigger automatic commands or behaviors based on the selected source or system status. The device can automatically convert 4K signals with bandwidth exceeding HDBaseT limits, ensuring compatibility with high-resolution sources without requiring manual intervention. Local management is straightforward thanks to a front-panel button that allows input selection, while status LEDs clearly indicate the active source, HDBaseT link status, and power. The unit is powered directly from the receiver via PoH (Power over HDBaseT), eliminating the need for a dedicated power supply and further simplifying installation.
