HDBaseT2 full 4K receiver with AVLC, LAN, PoH and Audio/ARC pathway, supporting 4K 60 4:4:4, HDR, long‑distance transmission, full control extension

Description

PUV‑2100RX‑AVLC is a high-end HDBaseT2 receiver designed for long-distance 4K AV applications. It supports video signals up to 4K 60 4:4:4, 10/12-bit HDR, and high-resolution audio, thanks to AVLC (Adaptive Visually Lossless Compression) technology, which overcomes the HDBaseT bandwidth limitation while maintaining image quality identical to the source. The device receives video, audio, Ethernet, IR, RS‑232, and optical audio streams over a single Cat.6a/7 cable up to 100 meters, simplifying installations. Selectable ARC allows audio from a compatible TV to be sent to the transmitter or optical audio to be exchanged bidirectionally. The receiver is powered directly by the transmitter via 48 V PoH, eliminating the need for a local power supply. HDMI clock management, TMDS re-clocking, and signal regeneration ensure high compatibility and stability even with demanding sources. It is ideal for matrix switchers, AVLC infrastructures, and advanced HDBaseT systems. Main features HDMI with HDR, 3D, and 4K @ 60 Hz, DVI 1.0 compatible Compatible with HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.x Allows input and output video signals up to 4K UHD (18 Gbps, 4K @ 50/60 Hz 4:4:4, 8-bit) Handles Deep Color input and output up to 12-bit Allows input and output processing of 10-bit and 12-bit HDR content CEC bypass HDBaseT output transmits video, audio, and data over a single Cat.5e/6/7 cable up to 100 m at 4K with Cat.6a/7 HDBaseT features: HD video and audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, 48V PoH, bidirectional optical audio, and bidirectional IR/RS-232 pass-through AVLC (Adaptive Visually Lossless Compression (VLLC) kicks in when the requested bandwidth exceeds 10.2 Gbps (340 MHz), allowing sources up to 18 Gbps (600 MHz) to be sent to a compatible receiver without visual loss The AVLC function allows manual selection between High Quality Mode (full bandwidth) and Standard Mode (reduced bandwidth, useful for longer distances with 4K sources) It offers bidirectional optical audio extension It integrates HDMI DDC bus clock stretching for improved source compatibility It performs TMDS re-clocking and signal regeneration for greater integrity It supports standard 48 V PoH from the transmitter to the receiver (compatible receivers only) User benefits Long-distance AV transmission with a single cable Reduction of power points thanks to the ability to receive power via PoH from the transmitter Greater operational stability thanks to signal regeneration and advanced HDMI clock management Simplified integration with HDBaseT matrices and infrastructures thanks to compatibility with all protocol features More flexible audio management thanks to the bidirectional optical path and the ability to use ARC selectively Bidirectional IR and RS-232 pass-through Manual selection of AVLC modes based on cable length Reduction of HDMI synchronization and compatibility issues thanks to DDC clock stretching Areas of use Professional AV installations requiring long-distance 4K distribution Conference rooms and meeting rooms Corporate environments Education Video conferencing systems with simultaneous audio, video, LAN, and control transport Digital Signage Advanced residential installations Auditoriums and public spaces Rental applications
