Laserworld ShowNET PRO Interface is a professional network interface for laser control, protected by a robust weatherproof aluminium housing for indoor and outdoor use. It includes an integrated ShowNET DAC with display for straightforward control and combines all standard ShowNET functions: a powerful laser control card with digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), DMX / Art-Net, stand-alone operation and ILDA streaming. It can be configured as an automated playback system for laser shows, a DMX-triggered playback system, an ILDA IN - LAN - ILDA OUT adapter or a DMX IN - LAN - DMX OUT adapter.

Fixed laser-show installations often require automated playback when a computer-controlled system cannot be installed. ShowNET interfaces are supplied as standard with a microSD card and can read standard ILDA files (*.ild), which can be exported from Laserworld Showeditor or any other laser software supporting ILDA file export. Once the desired files have been saved to the microSD card, a dip-switch setting places the interface in autoplay mode and automatically starts playing the show files stored on the card. The ShowNET interface also has many preset figures in its internal memory, which can likewise be used for autoplay.

Playback can also be triggered via DMX. ShowNET plays standard ILDA files from the microSD card not only in autoplay mode, but also allows individual patterns to be triggered individually via DMX. The standard DMX512 protocol can control further figure adjustments, including intensity, base colour, size and offset, without requiring a specifically modified figure to be saved. This feature makes the DMX-controlled laser playback system suitable for large-scale live laser-show productions, where preset figures are often simply triggered by a highly professional lighting controller.

For ILDA streaming, ShowNET PRO can operate as an ILDA IN - LAN - ILDA OUT adapter, serving as an ILDA range extender and an ILDA over LAN or ILDA over network solution. Two interfaces are required per signal line. Users of older USB DAC interfaces can thereby avoid running long ILDA cables, whose possible overall length is limited by the signal-transmission method. USB-to-LAN extenders used to transmit the USB signal over longer distances do not always work reliably; with laser control, it is also important to avoid unwanted signals on the control line. ShowNET can extend over a network the ILDA signal from the ILDA output of another interface with an ILDA output, for example a Pangolin Flashback 3 (FB3).

The interface provides over 120 basic patterns, including layers, tunnels, fences and waves. The stated IP rating is IP64; dimensions (L x W x H) are 20 x 11.5 x 16 cm and weight is 2.04 kg. The box contains one ShowNET PRO Interface.
