Laser network interface ShowNET LAN DMX ILDA - LASERWORLD LAS-LASERWORLD SHOWN

Laserworld ShowNET is a multifunctional LAN interface for laser show control. It can be used with Showeditor, the laser show programming software available from https://www.showeditor.com, and with Showcontroller, downloadable from https://www.showcontroller.com. It can also operate as an automated or DMX-triggered playback system, as an ILDA IN - LAN - ILDA OUT adapter for ILDA range extension and ILDA over a network, or as a DMX IN - LAN - DMX OUT adapter.

ShowNET is compatible with Laserworld Showeditor and can serve as a SLAVE interface for controlling additional laser projectors. The Laserworld Showeditor Set normally includes a ShowNET interface with a licence for the Showeditor software; this separately offered interface does not include a Showeditor licence. Only one MASTER licence is required to use all Showeditor features, while the other interfaces can operate as SLAVE units. Showeditor provides intuitive timeline-based laser show creation, ready-to-use live show operation, more than 250 free laser shows and preconfigured MIDI profiles. ILDA files (*.ild) can be imported and exported for straightforward exchange with other laser software.

The software supports DMX input and output, remote control through a DMX controller and control of lighting fixtures of any type. Advanced MIDI functions allow custom profiles to be created. Figure Editor also enables beginners to make their own figures, logos and running or morphing text. Professional users can access an abstract generator, colour adjustment and versatile optimisation tools. The user interface is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Romanian.

For automated playback, ShowNET is supplied with a microSD card and reads standard ILDA files (*.ild), which can be exported from Showeditor or any other laser software supporting ILDA file export. After the desired files have been saved to the microSD card, a dip-switch setting selects auto-play mode and automatically starts playback of the stored show files. Numerous preset figures are also stored in the internal memory and can be used for automated playback.

DMX playback allows individual triggering of the ILDA patterns stored on the microSD card in addition to automatic operation. Parameters such as intensity, base colour, size and offset can be controlled through the standard DMX512 protocol without saving a specially modified figure. This makes the system suitable for large-scale live laser productions, where preset figures can be triggered from a professional lighting controller. ShowNET can also operate as an ILDA IN - LAN - ILDA OUT adapter, with two interfaces required per signal line. Network transmission helps overcome the limitations of long ILDA cables by carrying the signal between the interfaces over LAN.
