Encoder 4K HDMI 2.0 Dante AV Ultra AVMaster-4KUltra-E - EGO DISPLAY LED-ENC-DNT-U01

This 4K encoder converts and encodes HDMI 2.0 signals into signals compatible with the Dante AV Ultra protocol, transporting high-resolution video and high-quality audio over IP networks. Dante AV Ultra brings the Dante Audio industry standard to AV-over-IP products and allows audio and video to be routed independently wherever they are needed, with low latency and precise synchronisation. The encoder provides 1 HDMI 2.0 video input and 1 RJ45 video output for Dante AV Ultra; it supports signals up to 4K 60 4:4:4, with lossless compression and latency of only 8 ms. Audio streams support up to 8 channels, 24 bit and 32-192 kHz. There is also 1 analogue L/R audio input and 1 analogue L/R audio output on 3.5 mm mini-jacks.

Very high-precision audio/video synchronisation is handled by Dante Controller software, while API integration is provided through Dante Director. The web-based user interface controls the entire system without connecting a keyboard and mouse and without using RS232/485. A USB-PC port and a second port for firmware updates are provided. Power is supplied by an external 12 VDC 2 A power supply or PoE. A 10 Gb switch is required for multiple signals. The minimal signal compression produces no difference visible to the naked eye.

All products in the Dante AV Ultra series are compatible with the same SDK (Software Development Kit), allowing developers to use the same set of tools and software libraries to program and integrate the encoder regardless of the processor architecture, X86 or ARM. The solution integrates the encoder into a Dante AV network while retaining the protocol benefits and the ability to route audio and video independently, with lossless compression and low latency. The supported Dante AV Ultra video modes are: 4096 × 2160p at 50/60 fps, 4096 × 2160p at 24/25/30 fps, 3840 × 2160p at 50/60 fps, 3840 × 2160p at 24/25/30 fps, 1920 × 1080p at 50/60 fps, 1920 × 1080p at 24/25/30 fps, 1920 × 1080i at 50/60 fps, 1280 × 720p at 50/60 fps, 1280 × 1024p at 60 fps and 1280 × 960p at 60. The recording mode uses hardware compression.

The encoder is suitable for permanent video/audio installations, concerts and sporting events, large exhibition halls, schools, corporate environments with video conferences and corporate presentations, and places of worship.
