opticalCON QUAD breakout box designed to split a 12-fiber opticalCON MTP connection into six opticalCON DUO connections (NO2‑4FDW‑A). It is the ideal solution for applications that require the distribution of multi-channel optical signals in a robust, reliable and broadcast standards-compliant manner. The MBB6D‑A version uses multi-mode PC (MTP) fibers and is built in an extremely durable enclosure, designed for use in harsh environments. In mated conditions, the breakout box guarantees IP65 protection, while when closed it reaches IP67 protection, ensuring resistance to dust, water and contaminants. It is used in broadcast applications, touring, live events, OB-trucks, professional installations and in all situations where it is necessary to convert a 12-fibre MTP line into multiple opticalCON DUO lines for cameras, data signals, Intercom, audio/video networks and control systems.
