LED video controller all-in-one 6 Ethernet 3,9Mpixel - Novastar NOV-VX600PRO

NovaStar VX600 Pro combines video processing and control in one device for LED systems. Its 6 Ethernet output ports provide a total loading capacity of 3.9 Mpixels, while one unit can handle an image up to 10,240 pixels wide and 8192 pixels high. The HDMI 2.0 input accepts high-resolution 4K x 2K signals at 60 Hz and supports 4K x 2K point-to-point display. The processor delivers 4K image quality with 6 layers, free scaling for every layer, and the stated 6-layer 2K x 1K configuration.

Connections include 2 HDMI 1.3 inputs, 1 HDMI 2.0 input/loop, 1 3G-SDI input/loop, 1 USB 3.0 port and 1 10G OPT port. Two optical ports are also provided for long-distance video signal transmission. The processor offers 3 freely switchable operating modes: video controller, bypass and fibre converter. On HDMI 2.0 it handles an input resolution of 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz and allows low-latency and ByPass modes to be enabled for real-time video applications. USB 3.0 Plug & Play playback is available on this model but not on the standard VX series.

For operational stability, the system provides redundancy for input sources, system configuration, Ethernet ports and devices. It includes 256 customisable presets and 0-frame latency. The unit is intended for mid- to high-end rental, stage control systems, concerts, conferences, live shows and fine-pitch LED walls, including applications such as shopping centres.

The 3G-SDI input supports ST-424 (3G), ST-292 (HD) and ST-259 (SD) standard video signals, with a maximum input resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz; 3G-SDI loop output is supported. The 2 HDMI 1.3 inputs also reach 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, while the HDMI 2.0 input reaches 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Custom resolutions are supported up to 8192 pixels wide, namely 8192 x 1080 at 60 Hz, and up to 8188 pixels high, namely 1080 x 8188 at 60 Hz. The unit is compatible with HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 1.3 video inputs, supports HDMI 2.0-1 loop out, and supports monitor and video output modes through HDMI 1.3.

The 6 Ethernet ports have a maximum loading capacity of 3.9 million pixels, with a maximum width of 10,240 pixels and a maximum height of 8192 pixels. A single port can load 650,000 pixels with an 8-bit input depth. The controller supports 8-, 10- and 12-bit video inputs, HDCP 1.4 and HDCP 2.2; HDCP 1.4 input is supported as well. It does not support input-resolution or bit-depth settings, and it does not support interlaced signal inputs.

The 2 OPT connections are 10G optical-fibre ports. OPT 1 is self-adaptive and can be used either for video input or output, while OPT 2 provides output with copy and backup modes or loop output. There is 1 audio input and 1 audio output on standard 3.5 mm connectors, with an audio sampling rate up to 48 kHz and accompanied-audio support. The 2 Ethernet connectors link the unit to a PC and provide access to the Unico web page for device control. The USB 2.0 port updates the firmware through a USB drive.

The RS232 connector provides RX for receiving signals, TX for sending signals and G for ground. The GENLock IN-LOOP connector accepts an external synchronisation signal, including bi-level and tri-level signals: IN accepts the sync signal and LOOP passes it through. A light sensor collects ambient brightness data for automatic screen-brightness adjustment. Control connections also include an input or output for device cascading, with support for importing or exporting device logs and EDID files.

Power requirements are 100 - 240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. Rated power consumption is 41 W, noise level is 45 dB (A), working temperature is 0 to 50 °C, and working humidity is 5 to 85% RH, non-condensing. Dimensions are 48.26 x 30.22 x 5.01 cm and net weight is 3.9 kg.
