The PTZOptics SuperJoy PTZ joystick controller is built for smooth, efficient workflows with simultaneous NDI, IP, and serial control across a wide range of PTZ cameras, including PTZOptics and other brands. Pan, Tilt, and Zoom are handled through a streamlined user interface with advanced controls for power users: four customizable buttons send IP commands to cameras, lights, projector screens, and other devices.

Programmable Super-Preset buttons trigger synchronized multi-preset commands across up to 4 groups of up to 7 cameras each, plus a fifth group of up to 227 cameras. The interface is intuitive and tactile, with ergonomic rubber controls and pressure-sensitive dials that simplify and optimize even complex production setups. Backlit status-responsive buttons and dials show available camera modes; optional tablet or computer control allows remote monitoring.

Three user-centric control modes deliver unmatched flexibility for production teams of every background and experience level. Basic and Basic Plus limit functions to presets and single-camera control; Matrix mode recalls presets on up to 3 cameras. Expert users can program custom buttons for production automation. HDMI video output delivers 1080p preview for any camera connected to SuperJoy with an RTSP video feed available, ideal for viewing cameras on a local network: the controller can sit anywhere on the network while keeping PTZ control and a low-latency live preview.

The unit accepts 12 V DC (6 W) or PoE 802.3af power, one source at a time, and talks over RS-232, RS-485, RS-422, and RJ-45 at 1200–19,200 bps. Up to 255 cameras total are supported—28 across four groups of seven channels plus a fifth group of up to 227—at recommended distances of 15 m on RS-232/RS-422, 1200 m on RS-485, and 100 m on Ethernet, from -10 to 50 °C and 10–90% non-condensing humidity, in a 37 x 18 x 10.1 cm chassis weighing 1.7 kg.
