This 24 V safety power supply system, in a 19" 2U rack format, features an EN 54-4/A2 certified unit designed to ensure operational continuity for emergency evacuation and sound systems. The device manages and recharges the connected batteries, which automatically intervene in the event of a power failure to ensure system operation during evacuation procedures. Status is communicated via front LEDs, while dry contacts allow alarms to be relayed to external systems. The unit monitors battery presence and impedance (i.e., internal resistance, current supply capacity, and any anomalies in the battery circuit), protects against temperature variations and deep discharges, and integrates comprehensive protection on all rear connections. The SONaes range also offers up to six amplifier outputs and three independent, fused auxiliary outputs, with fully removable connectors and surge protection.
