The RONDSON EVA-500 is a 500 W Class-D power amplifier for audio signal amplification in the EVA-3000 evacuation and public address systems. Lightweight, efficient and reliable, it provides balanced and unbalanced audio inputs, 70/100 V outputs and a 100 V audio booster input for increasing the power available in the system.

Its RJ45 port receives audio signals and commands from the controller and returns the operating status, providing full integration with the PA/VA system. The advanced self-protection system covers overtemperature, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overload and short circuit. If the mains supply fails, the amplifier automatically switches to the 24 VDC backup power supply to maintain operational continuity. Forced-air cooling and automatic diagnostics support stable performance even under critical conditions.

Front-panel indicators provide immediate monitoring of power, faults, protection and the VU meter. Full RJ45 controller integration handles audio, commands and status feedback; the unit also provides a 100 V booster input, an efficient self-protection system, automatic switching to the 24 VDC backup supply in the event of a mains failure, and forced-air cooling for stable long-term performance. EN 54-16 and CE/CB certifications confirm compliance with evacuation-system requirements.

The EVA-500 is intended for EN 54-16 certified voice evacuation and fire alarm systems, public address systems in public, commercial and industrial buildings, and use as the main amplifier or booster in modular PA/VA systems. It suits installations requiring operational continuity and constant status monitoring, including schools, hospitals, shopping centres, offices, hotels and complex infrastructure.

The main power supply is 100-240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, while the backup supply is 21.5-28.5 V DC. Power consumption is below 700 W and the fuse is T10AH 250 V. Maximum output power is 500 W; frequency response is 80 Hz-18 kHz with +1/-3 dB and input impedance is 20 kohm. The PA input through RJ45 is 1.4 V, the line input is 1.4 V, the booster input is 100 V and the link output is 1.4 V.

Signal-to-noise ratio is 100 dB +5%, A-weighted, while total harmonic distortion is below 0.1% at 1/3 rated power and 1 kHz. The indicators cover power supply, main power fault, backup power fault, protection and VU meter. Cooling uses forced air. Relative humidity must remain below 95% without condensing; operating temperature is -10 to 55 °C. Storage temperature is specified as below 95% without condensing.
