The Yes Tech MG9 P2.9 LED display is built for rental-market LED walls and updates the Chinese manufacturer’s flagship MG7S platform. It suits indoor and outdoor operation; IP65 rating helps it withstand atmospheric exposure. The MG9 line is also offered at 3.9 mm and 5.9 mm pitches; this listing is the 2.9 mm variant.

Cabinet footprint stays at 500 x 500 mm like the MG7S, with 73 mm depth and 6.6 kg per cabinet. Each cabinet holds four 250 x 250 mm modules in a 2 x 2 layout. Brightness adjusts from 800 to 5500 nit according to ambient light; pre-calibration white balance brightness is 3500 - 3800 nit. Horizontal and vertical viewing angle is 160°; contrast is on the order of 10,800:1. Refresh rate reaches 3840 - 7680 Hz using the new DP3254 IC.

The resistance of the 1516 LED lamp has been significantly improved, now reaching 100 N against the 26 / 30 N of the 1921, thanks to a greater LED edge margin and therefore greater anti-shock capacity. Anti-collision design adds protective corners along the cabinet edge to shield the LEDs. Visual performance is strong: the U-shaped mask avoids distortion or colour blocking and offers wider coverage.

Cabinet-level cooling uses dual dissipation: an aluminium backplane and thermal balancing to spread heat evenly from the LED lamp and IC. The integrated back cover design and heat dissipation function greatly increase the heat dissipation area.

More complexly shaped projects stay within reach: on this 2.9 mm pitch, the special MG connector can be customized between ±5° to build curved, S-shaped, or ring LED walls. For creative shapes, the cabinet can be combined with Yes Tech special shapes to create particular letters, numbers, geometric figures, etc. Typical uses include stadiums and concerts (indoors or outdoors), award ceremonies, sky curtains, portal structures on exhibition stands, and dance floors with the patented MG mask; for dance-floor duty, anti-fatigue performance is nearly five times higher, with maximum load capacity of 4.6 ton/mq.
