Yes Tech MG9 P2.9 is designed for LED walls used in rental applications or installations, with cubic or 90° corner configurations made possible by the cabinet's distinctive structure. It updates the manufacturer's MG7S Cube flagship model and is suitable for indoor or outdoor operation thanks to IP65 certification, which provides protection against atmospheric agents. The series is available with 2.9, 3.9 or 5.9 mm pixel pitches. The cabinet measures 500 x 500 mm, is 73 mm deep and weighs 6.6 kg; each cabinet contains 4 modules measuring 250 x 250 mm.

Brightness can be adjusted from 800 to 5500 nit according to ambient light, while white-balance brightness before calibration is 3500 - 3800 nit. Both horizontal and vertical viewing angles are 160°, with a contrast ratio of 10,800:1. The new DP3254 IC provides a refresh rate of 3840 - 7680 Hz. The 1516 LED lamp reaches a resistance of 100 N, compared with 26 / 30 N for the 1921, because of its larger LED edge margin and resulting higher impact resistance. Protective corners in the anti-collision design also shield the LEDs along the cabinet edge.

The U-shaped mask expands coverage and prevents distortion or colour blocking. Thermal management uses dual dissipation with an aluminium backplane and thermal balancing to distribute heat evenly from the LED lamp and IC. The integrated rear cover and heat-dissipation function further increase the dissipation area.

On this 2.9-pitch model, the MG connector can be customised to an angle between ±5°, enabling curved, S-shaped and ring-shaped LED walls. The cabinet can also be combined with Yes Tech special shapes to create letters, numbers and distinctive geometric figures. Applications include stadiums, indoor and outdoor concerts, award ceremonies, sky curtains, portals in trade-fair stands and dance floors using the patented MG mask. For this last application, fatigue resistance is almost five times higher and the maximum load-bearing capacity is 4.6ton/mq.
