TD 200HR PT

The Definitive Audio TD 200 HR PT is a half-rack True Diversity UHF wireless audio system comprising two bodypack transmitters with matching microphones and a dual receiver. As part of the True Diversity Series, the receiver uses two separate antennas and a Phase Locked Loop circuit to provide stable reception, reduce interference and deliver clear, precise audio in demanding RF environments.

The half-rack receiver incorporates an antenna distributor, preset frequency groups and a tuning bandwidth of up to 50 MHz, with up to 2000 selectable frequencies depending on the region. It has two colour LCD screens, an adjustable sub-display background colour and a transmitter display colour that can be changed accordingly with the receiver. The panel provides 1 main control and 2 sub-channels with colour LCD screens for displaying functions. ACT synchronises the bodypacks wirelessly through an infrared interface.

The Dual UHF Mic True Diversity configuration uses PLL circuitry, stable characteristics and low harmonic radiation. Its adjustable 7-band equalisation processor adapts the response to different vocal applications. A frequency grouping design provides multiple preset groups compatible with common frequency use, while the built-in antenna distribution system effectively reduces mutual radiation interference between antennas.

The 1U chassis includes rack legs, 2 antenna bases and 2 separate antennas for improved reception. Connections comprise 2 balanced XLR outputs and a balanced mix OUT jack output. The system includes a receiver, 2 bodypack transmitters, and lavalier and headset microphones with cardioid capsules, providing a complete solution for professional use.

The system operates from 580–608 MHz, with maximum transmit power of 13 dBm depending on the region, and transmit power of up to 30 mW, also depending on the region. The frequency response is 50 Hz–16 kHz with a flat response, while the built-in frequency response is 50 Hz–18 kHz at ± 3 dB. Reception uses a single channel; the oscillation mode is PLL frequency synthesis and the modulation mode is FM modulation. With a 6 dBμV input, RF sensitivity is S/N > 80 dB. The working range is 60 m in a straight line, although the actual range depends on RF signal absorption, reflection, interference and the environment.

Silent control uses an audio code and noise lockout. Built-in THD is < 0.5% at 1 kHz, and the panel display combines LCD and LED. Capture gain is fixed, while current consumption is < 130 mA. Dimensions are 21.2 × 4.4 × 20.5 cm in W × H × D order, and weight is 2.10 kg.
