The Synq BEG-B08205 is a Dante/analogue network audio bridge with AES67 support for touring applications and 4 balanced analogue outputs. It converts Dante and/or AES67 network audio into four high-quality balanced analogue outputs.

Its Gigabit Ethernet I/O is built around a high-speed Marvell switch and introduces no link delay. Integrated DSP processing is available on every channel, with parametric EQs, compressors, delays and other functions. The unit can serve as a Dante-enabled loudspeaker management processor, while also fitting many other applications. An 8 x 8 audio matrix supports local premixing and flexible routing.

The integrated Web Server supplies a fully graphical, intuitive interface for configuration and DSP control from any network device. The included SYNQ Network Discovery Tool software locates devices on a local network and opens them on any desktop computer without requiring knowledge of the IP address. OSC support allows every function to be controlled through user-created apps running on iPhone, Android phones, tablets and desktop computers.

Audio performance is specified at S/N > 120 dB and THD 0.003%. Euroblock connectors are used throughout to simplify installation. The bridge complies with the IEEE 802.3-2005 Information Technology (IT) standard and is built for reliability through the exclusive use of industrial-grade components, including high-end Burr Brown audio DACs and Wurth electrolytic capacitors.

Power can be supplied through powerCON TRUE1 at 100 - 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, or through Power over Ethernet, PoE class 0. The ½ 19” die-cast chassis supports several installation options: one unit fits a 19” 1U rack with the included 19” adapter, while two units fit into a 19” 1U rack using the supplied adapters. An optional wall-mount adapter, an optional truss-mount adapter and strong optional rubber protection adapters for stage-box use are also available.
