19” rack format converter designed to integrate SMPTE-2110 IP video into 12G-SDI broadcast equipment. This standard (SMPTE ST-2110) developed by SMPTE, defines the transport and synchronization of 10-bit video, audio and auxiliary data over broadcast IP networks intended to replace SDI (Serial Digital Interface). Uses 4 independent 12G-SDI to SMPTE-2110 bidirectional IP video converters and 10G Ethernet RJ45 connections; this ensures fast power supply to each 10G Ethernet connection, for example to connect 4 Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro simultaneously. Each channel has a 12G-SDI input, but there is also a 12G-SDI input for the return of the program that broadcasts on all channels. It has 5 SDI inputs in total (4 SDI video + main PGM input), 4 SDI video outputs + 1 SDI Main Program Loop Out, 16 audio IN/OUT embedded on SDI. It includes PTP (Precision Time Protocol) clocking for precise synchronization between devices. The addition of this converter to an existing professional SMPTE-2110 broadcast system offers the great advantage of being able to transform all video equipment into SMPTE-2110 at low cost: simply connect the device to live production switchers, recorders on disk, streaming processors, cameras, TVs and more. Using simple network cables you get the benefits of SMPTE-2110 IP video, remote power and bi-directional video, just like you would with an SDI workflow. Features a dual internal 100 - 240 VAC 50/60 Hz power supply for redundancy.
