IP 2110 rack converter 8-channel 12G-SDI SFP - Blackmagic Design BLM-CONVNVIPC8/12GSFP

19” rack format converter designed to integrate SMPTE-2110 IP video into 12G-SDI broadcast equipment, just like the Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter 4x12G PWR. This standard (SMPTE ST-2110) developed by SMPTE, defines the transport and synchronization of 10-bit video, audio and ancillary data over broadcast IP networks intended to replace SDI (Serial Digital Interface). In this case there are 8 independent bidirectional IP video converters from 12G-SDI to SMPTE-2110, with SFP modules to be able to use the 10 Gb fiber optic Ethernet modules for long distance connections. Each channel has a 12G-SDI input, but there is also a 12G-SDI input for the return of the program that transmits on all channels. In total, the equipment has 9 SDI inputs (8 SDI video + main PGM input), 8 SDI video outputs + 1 SDI Main Program Loop Out, 16 audio IN/OUT embedded on SDI. 8 x 10 Gb/s SFP sockets support up to 10G BASE-T for SMPTE 2110 IP video input and output. PTP (Precision Time Protocol) clock for precise synchronization between devices is included. The addition of this converter to an existing professional SMPTE-2110 broadcast system offers the great advantage of being able to transform all video equipment into SMPTE-2110 at low cost: simply connect the device to live production switchers, recorders on disk, streaming processors, cameras, TVs and more. Features a dual internal 100 - 240 VAC 50/60 Hz power supply for redundancy.
