Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio HD Pro is a 19" rack-mount digital deck for recording and playing back ProRes, DNx and H.264 files on SSD media, SD cards or USB-C drives. It combines studio-grade controls with full connectivity for broadcast and video production systems.
The wider chassis retains the features of the Plus version and adds further capabilities. Alongside two SD card slots, it provides two SSD bays so media can be moved between HyperDeck Studio decks. Transport buttons sit beside a machined metal dial with an electronic clutch that restricts rotation in shuttle mode, while dedicated controls select jog, shuttle or scroll operation. The rear panel adds new XLR timecode connectors. An integrated LCD monitors video, audio, timecode and menu settings; LED indicators show the status of the SSD and SD media slots.
The technical documentation covers video standards, supported codecs and media, software control, operating systems, display functions, power requirements, accessories, physical installation, environmental specifications and physical specifications.
