Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro combines the complete feature set of the HD models with processing designed for Ultra HD work. Its SDI interface has been upgraded to full 12G-SDI and includes a 12G-SDI loop output. Both SDI outputs are 12G-SDI, allowing ProRes 4444 files to be played with Ultra HD fill and key.
HDMI connections and ProRes and DNx file formats switch between SD, HD and Ultra HD television standards. H.264 is provided for SD and HD, while Ultra HD recording uses H.265. Network connectivity reaches 10G Ethernet, and the 2 AC inputs provide complete redundancy. The unit also features a mono speaker, headphone output, front-panel control, SSD and SD card media slots, and a high-speed USB-C connection.
