Media Dock Ultra is a high performance docking station / expansion unit designed to house Blackmagic Media Modules and share them over a network using two completely independent 100G Ethernet ports. It allows modules to be used as ultra high speed removable storage, along with SDI and HDMI status monitoring and Blackmagic Cloud synchronization. Media Modules use four M.2 drives in RAID 0 for incredibly high speeds, perfect for editing files recorded with URSA Cine directly without the need for local copies. The rack-mount design accommodates up to three modules and includes status LEDs, multiple front-to-back cooling fans, and redundant power supplies for quiet, reliable operation even in mission-critical environments. Blackmagic Cloud synchronization lets teams share a common local cache, making files instantly available to everyone without downloading, and allows global collaboration with local copies synchronized across multiple locations. The SDI and HDMI outputs provide real-time status information, including transfer graphs, module usage, and cloud sync status. With its 100G ports, Media Dock Ultra is designed to integrate seamlessly with the HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G, allowing you to record up to 8 cameras simultaneously in ProRes and instantly edit in DaVinci Resolve, even while the files are being written.
