The Evolite Splitter 6 is an amplified DMX distributor with a distinctive design, created to turn one signal into 6 independent outputs. Its internal amplification keeps the signal strong and readable across long cable runs and complex structures, helping prevent the issues associated with very long DMX chains and serial connections.

All 6 outputs are electrically separated from the input. A defective fixture or unstable connection can therefore remain localised instead of affecting the whole system, making faults easier to identify. The unit follows the DMX-512 standard, also written as DM-X512 in the source, and is compatible with most entry-level and mid-range consoles used for events.

Signal distribution remains stable and clean over long distances, while isolated outputs provide greater reliability than serial DMX chains. Installation is quick and straightforward, which is useful when the system is frequently assembled and dismantled. Built-in amplification continues to maintain a strong signal over extended runs.

The Splitter 6 is suitable for live events, DJ sets and private parties, as well as permanent installations in bars, clubs, event halls and public venues. It can also serve media façades and structures with fixtures spread across several zones, stages, theatres and scenic areas using multiple groups of LED PARs, together with temporary setups for weddings, conventions and corporate events.
