PIXELHUE P10 is a P-series presentation switcher built around a high-performance FPGA hardware architecture. It processes 4K 60p 4:4:4 10-bit video and provides high-performance image de-interlacing. Its broad range of 4K connectors interfaces with the latest video equipment, including HDMI 2.0, DP 1.2, 12G-SDI and 4 x 10G optical fibre ports. The optical ports copy the HDMI 2.0 outputs, allowing signals to be sent to LED display controllers over distances of up to 10 km without fibre converters and reducing related costs.

The available inputs are 4 x DP 1.2 / HDMI 2.0 and 2 x 12G-SDI. Outputs include 2 x HDMI 2.0 and 6 x HDMI 1.3, plus 2 HDMI 1.3 AUX outputs for auxiliary devices and a dedicated Multiviewer output for live monitoring of all inputs and outputs on a display. P10 operates in switcher mode or PGM only mode: switcher mode provides 4K x 2K at 60 Hz, while PGM only mode provides 8K x 2K at 60 Hz. The unit handles real 4K inputs and outputs without colour subsampling, high-quality video processing, smooth transitions and views, image mosaics and various transition effects.

These functions make P10 suitable for small/medium-sized live events and many fixed installations requiring high reliability, ease of use, image quality and advanced 4K live processing. The system supports 6 layers, arranged as 2 x 4K layers + 4 x 2K layers or 3 x 4K layers, with user-defined positioning. Up to 128 presets are available, and high-resolution images can be captured from live inputs and outputs for use as backgrounds.

Control is available from the backlit front-panel keys and 5" graphical LCD display, or alternatively through the U5 live console, an intuitive web GUI interface or stream deck. The construction and electronic components are intended for the most demanding operating conditions. The manufacturer has performed drop, shock/vibration and thermal tests to ensure operation in extreme conditions, including touring and rental applications, with 24/7 operation.

Technical functions include switching between switcher and PGM only modes, 10G optical fibre ports for output copying, reserved 3.5 mm dual-channel audio jacks, 4 DP 1.2/HDMI 2.0 inputs, 2 12G-SDI inputs, 2 HDMI 2.0 outputs, 6 HDMI 1.3 outputs and a 4Kx2K @ 60 Hz output in switcher mode; the output resolution per P10 in splice mode is specified below.
