8-message PPMS reader/recorder module 19" rack 1U 24V - RONDSON RON-02359

RONDSON RON-02359 is an 8-message reader and recorder module for PPMS, meaning Special Safety Implementation Plan. The DMT-PPMS player broadcasts eight audio messages to inform and evacuate a public place in the event of danger, using a 24 V DC power supply. It accepts WAV, VMA and MP3 files and includes 256 MB of memory. Its mini-USB port connects to a PC so audio files can be read, played and renamed during updates.

Messages 1 to 4 on the front panel share the same priority. Messages A, B, C and D, accessed on the rear through the Euroblock terminal block, override messages 1 to 4 according to the order A>B>C>D=1=2=3=4. The player operates in play & repeat mode. The MIC/line input uses an XLR/jack socket with a DIP switch for VOX, MIC/line and Phantom selection. In recording mode, messages 1, 2, 3 and 4 can be recorded directly from the rear panel, while the VU meter monitors both output and recording.

Inputs are MIC at -50 dBV balanced / 10 kohm and line at -10 dBV balanced / 10 kohm. Phantom power is 24 V DC via DIP switch. Frequency response is 100 Hz – 20,000 Hz with ±3 dB, total harmonic distortion is below 0.05%, and the signal-to-noise ratio is -65 dBu for MIC and -75 dBu for line. The player handles WAV, VMA and MP3, while the recorder supports microphone and line recording. Outputs are +4 dBV balanced / 500 ohm and 0 dBV balanced / 1 kohm. The unit uses a standard 19-inch, 1U rack format; dimensions are 482 x 100 x 44 mm and weight is 2.3 kg.
