Display QD-OLED 4K 55" BRAVIA 8 II Google TV - SONY SON-FWD-55XR8M2

The Sony FWD-55XR8M2 is a 55" 4K QD-OLED display from the BRAVIA 8 II series, intended for professional environments, meeting rooms, corporate spaces, showrooms, retail areas, education and training settings, and Home Theater systems. Its high-luminance panel and XR Contrast Booster system enhance OLED deep blacks while increasing brightness and contrast. The artificial-intelligence-based XR Processor analyses scenes and optimises colours, details and moving content, while XR OLED Motion helps keep images smooth. XR Triluminos Max produces natural colours, and HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced compatibility supports a broader content range.

Acoustic Surface Audio+ turns the screen into a front-facing loudspeaker, with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, 3D Surround Upscaling and Voice Zoom 3 support for spatial, immersive sound. The slim frameless design suits different environments, while the aluminium edge stand provides two installation positions, including use with a soundbar. Google TV provides access to more than 400,000 content items and over 10,000 apps and games. Gaming functions include 4K at 120 Hz, VRR, ALLM through HDMI 2.1 and PS Remote Play. Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2 and Eco Dashboard provide sharing and energy-efficiency monitoring functions.
