DIN 56950-3 ALS Red ILS lifting tower - VMB TL-063B

The VMB TL-063 is a lifting tower designed to raise heavy loads from the ground to high altitude and keep them there. It meets the DIN 56950-3 and DGUV17 requirements, formerly BGV-C1, and includes the Cable Guide system, the optional Load Limit System and a larger protective cover on the front.

The base is made from structural steel, while the tower consists of 5 sections in 6082-T6 aluminium alloy plus an additional section for the lifting trolley. Handling is straightforward thanks to the 4 swivel wheels at the base, and the tower can pass through a doorway. Powerful leg stabilisers allow the lift to be levelled on difficult terrain with a slight slope.

Two adjustable steel load forks support the load whether it is resting on top or hanging below. The black finish uses epoxy powder coating for high resistance. VMB offers a range of accessories that expands the lift's possible applications; the RH-7 transport kit, for example, tilts the lift horizontally to facilitate transport in vans, trucks and other vehicles.

The TL-063 uses VMB ALS Red locks, which automatically lock each section during lifting, together with the ILS inertial pendulum safety system for the aluminium lifting trolley. It also features the special SRS Retentor system, patented by VMB, which ensures that the aluminium sections of the lifting tower rise automatically and in the correct order. The VMB factory is located in Spain and provides an overhaul and repair service for the lift.
