Blackmagic Design Videohub Master Control Pro is a 1 RU Ethernet hardware panel with rotary encoder control for managing the entire router from anywhere in the studio. Once connected to the Ethernet network, it provides control of every router crosspoint, allowing all crosspoints to be viewed and routed remotely, including on the largest Videohub systems.

The front panel includes 21 assignable buttons, encoders and an LCD for source and destination labels. The scroll wheel speeds up selection, while clean-cut selection supports multiple destinations. Internal software can be upgraded with the included firmware updater application via USB or Ethernet. Button configuration is included free for Windows and Mac through the USB 2.0 high-speed 480 Mb/s interface.

The unit provides RJ45 Ethernet IN and OUT connections. Power over Ethernet is supported on Ethernet IN, but not on Ethernet OUT. RS-422 IN and OUT are provided for future implementation, while USB-C handles configuration and software updates. Supported operating systems are Mac 13.0 Ventura, Mac 14.0 Sonoma or later, Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11. Physical installation requires 1 rack unit and less than 3” depth.
