MADRIX 5 is Windows operating system-based software for LED lighting control and pixel mapping, developed to combine high performance, ease of use and a broad set of functions. The project was created in Germany in 2005 and has received continuous updates through release 5.x, described by the source as especially powerful and still regarded as the world's best LED lighting controller.

The new 64-bit render engine delivers unprecedented performance and speed, together with further functions for producing impressive results from the outset, improved again in the latest software release. CPU performance and memory calculation are up to 2 times faster than with MADRIX 5.4 or earlier versions.

A set of advanced technologies supplies the tools required for modern LED control. MADRIX 5 adapts to the project and can be used as an LED lighting controller, VJ software, media server or media creator, with capabilities for displaying unique real-time effects on LEDs. Pixel mapping 2D, voxel mapping 3D, the integrated graphics engine and the integrated rendering engine make it possible to create impressive, fully customisable visual effects. For VJ work, 3 real-time previews are available to check effects in advance. Users can choose from 5 effect categories and more than 55 built-in effects. SCE Effects do not require any sound.
