MADRIX 5 is Windows-based control software for LED lighting and pixel mapping, combining an intuitive interface with an extensive feature set. Developed in Germany in 2005, it has received continuous updates through the current 5.x release and is considered the world's best LED lighting controller.

The software is built to operate 2D LED installations as well as genuine 3D LED applications through voxel mapping. Its target applications include entertainment, architectural lighting, building façades, television studios, live shows, concerts, festivals, trade-show booths, showrooms, cruise ships, service providers, and rental companies. In each of these environments, it provides a control tool for LED lighting fixtures.

A new, powerful 64-bit rendering engine delivers unprecedented performance and speed, alongside much more for producing results from the outset, with further improvements in this latest software release.

MADRIX 5 can be used as an LED lighting controller, VJ software, media server, 2D pixel mapper, or 3D voxel mapper. The software is also easy for VJs to use and provides 3 real-time previews. It offers 5 different effect categories and more than 55 built-in effects. SCE needs no sound and supplies a diverse selection of patterns and effects; S2L, short for Sound2Light, responds to audio input; M2L, short for Music2Light, takes audio-based effects to a more professional level; and MAS lets users create effects from scratch with the advanced MADRIX scripting language.
