GPIO interface 8 GPI 8 GPO DMX RS-232 - VISUAL PRODUCTIONS VIS-IOCORE2

Visual Productions IoCore2 is a network-based solid-state interface for GPIO signals, intended for architectural and architainment installations, show spaces, facade lighting, museums, churches, cruise ships, exhibition booths, shopping centres, hotels and restaurants, discotheques, gardens and lounges. It provides 8 GPI ports configurable as digital contact closures or analogue 0–10 V level inputs, together with 8 GPO ports fitted with potential-free relay switches. The unit also includes an RS-232 port, a bi-directional DMX-512 port and support for numerous Ethernet-based protocols.

IoCore2 is an expansion module for CueCore2, extending its functions through the GPI, GPO, RS-232 and DMX ports. Signals received on any of these ports can trigger lighting scenes in the CueCores. The interface can send, receive and convert data between its physical GPI, GPO, RS-232 and DMX ports and the Ethernet-based TCP, UDP, OSC and Art-Net protocols. Flexible triggers and conversions are programmed through the web interface. The unit can also operate autonomously, with no external equipment required.

IoCore2 can be combined with the CueCore2 and QuadCore lighting controllers, the B-Station wall-mount button panel, and the RdmSplitter DMX signal booster and splitter. Its functions include an Ethernet port, web-interface programming, 8 analogue or digital inputs, 8 relays rated at 250 V AC or 30 V DC, maximum 2 A, and a DMX512-A port compliant with ANSI E1.11, opto-isolated and configurable as input or output. RS-232 IN/OUT, Art-Net IN/OUT, sACN IN/OUT, TCP IN and USP & OSC IN/OUT are also available.

Power is supplied at 12–24 V DC, 500 mA, with the power supply unit included; Power over Ethernet, class I, is also supported. The device has a Kensington lock and can be installed on a desktop, DIN rail or 19-inch rack using an optional adapter. Operating temperature is –20 to 50 °C. IoCore2 complies with EN55103-1 and EN55103-2 and is bundled with CueluxPro, vManager and Kiosc software. Dimensions are 17 x 10 x 4.15 cm.
